Macaronis Surf Resort is a small boutique hotel consisting of 8 waterfront villas (maximum occupancy 24 guests) located on North Pagai Island in the Mentawai Islands.

At Macaronis Resort we service English speaking foreign guests, employing staff locally as trainees and from Padang or Java for those who can fill the more senior positions.

Macaronis Resort is currently seeking a suitably qualified professional able to build and maintain a successful team of workers for the 2010 surfing season.
All applicants must have the following skills and experience:

* Must have leadership qualities, energetic, enthusiastic, of age 30 years or older;

* Must have training in the hotel and tourism industry and have sound knowledge / practical experience of all hotel departments as well as being able to coordinate with each department implementing daily work hours, monthly staff rosters and Standard Operational Procedures (STOP);

* Must have confidence and sound communication skills that will assist in weekly staff meetings and regular meetings with each individual department to assess performance and develop a sound Management system;

* Must be able to speak English communicating with guests to gain their feedback in order to improve the services and facilities provided;

* Must be willing to spend up to 4 weeks at a time in Mentawai;

* The chosen applicant will play a key role in selection of staff members for the 2010 season (March 16th 2010 – November 18th 2010) as the person in charge of all employees and operational management.

* Monthly Salary Rp.3.000.000 – Rp.5.000.000 (dependant on skill level and Experience).

* Meals and accommodation whilst on the job are supplied by the Company.
